Many types of problems are addressed in individual sessions, including marital conflicts, child management difficulties, other relationship problems, job stresses, religious questions, and so on; many individuals have accompanying symptoms of depression or anxiety.
In marital therapy, Dr. Flannick works with both husband and wife to identify the issues that have contributed to the problems in the relationship; effective communication and easy-to-learn behavioral skills necessary to resolve the problems are proposed.
The family is the domestic church. It is also the foundation on which God builds society, and our refuge as we struggle with the challenges of life. Thus, harmonious relationships within the family are of paramount importance; and the goal of family counseling is the achievement of this harmony.
